ABOUT US

Our History

Founded in 1991, Zozik provides essential business solutions and services to agencies, governments and international companies taking part in the building of a new Iraq. Under the most difficult of economic and working conditions, Zozik has built a reputation of quality, safety and reliability, and is known as one of the fastest growing companies in Iraq.

In our first years of operation, we delivered essential supplies and manpower to areas in great need, and constructed health centers, schools and shelters. In 1993, Zozik became the largest fuel provider in Iraq by supplying 800 liters to the region through a partnership with CARE Australia.

Our network of experienced engineers, financial analysts and other professional staff has implemented many projects associated with energy generation and distribution, construction, water and sewage for agencies of the United Nations. We also have had the privilege of working with HABITAT, UNDP, UNESCO, FAO, WHO, UNOPS, WFP as well as international companies such as ABB (Sweden), BWSC (Holland), ENERGO (Bosnia), and a wide variety of non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Zozik provided crucial financial assistance to various UN agencies and international companies working in Iraq during the embargo, when no banking services were available. With monthly cash supplies in the 100 millions, Zozik kept humanitarian and business efforts moving during this difficult and uncertain time, and provided professional manpower to the region.
